Rare early 20th-century Egyptian Revival sterling silver bracelet featuring six hand-carved steatite scarabs with authentic faience glaze in vivid turquoise tones. These scarabs show classic kiln-fired variations—exactly what collectors look for in early faience.
The silverwork is entirely hand-wrought: twisted wire borders, raised scarab seats, double bar connectors, and a long ribbed barrel clasp typical of 1920s–30s craftsmanship. Tested positive for silver; many early Egyptian pieces were unmarked.
Approx. 6.75” length, 1” wide, 26.19g. A scarce and highly collectible example of early Egyptian Revival work—nothing like the later tourist versions. Powerful color, striking presence, and rich symbolism of protection and rebirth.
