Mens SEIKO vintage 80's Mechanical Set & Autowind 7009 Stainless Steel 36/42mm

This vintage Seiko from the 80's looks like it was just purchased new from the Seiko store. Of course it has been 40 years since that was possible, but this is a chance to purchase this beauty. It is serviced and sparkling clean, ready to wear proudly. The stainless case is a cushion/tonneau style that is 37mm wide and 42mm from lug to lug. The dial is one of Seiko's famous radiant gold sunburst style with gold and black markings and a day/date window at the 3. The movement is an early 7009 which features all alloy construction having 17 jewels and a autowind feature along with shock protection. With no plastic parts, this Seiko is endlessly serviceable with a fresh one in the last year. It keeps great time for a watch of this period. The integrated oyster style bracelet from Seiko, has a Z-Deploy type clasp and will fit up to a 7 3/4" wrist. Additional length is possible with an optional buckle extender. This Seiko looks like new on the wrist, you may find one as nice, but none nicer.
